Mali Font

Mali is a handwritten family with soft, rounded strokes, loose curves, and a slightly uneven rhythm that mimics genuine 6th‑grade handwriting rather than polished calligraphy. The overall impression is informal and friendly, with enough weight range to move from light notes to punchier display lines without feeling stiff. It stays legible at medium sizes, but the lively forms and open spacing shine most in short text: app empty states, kids’ packaging, or playful captions where personality matters more than strict alignment. For dense editorial layouts or serious corporate reports, the same naive quality can feel out of place and visually noisy, so it works better as an accent than the main workhorse.

Best For:
kids product packaging
friendly app microcopy
informal posters and flyers
playful social posts

Not Ideal For:
long paragraphs
formal business reports
academic documents
highly minimalist branding
