Londrina Sketch carries the DNA of São Paulo’s chaotic street signage — each letterform appears hand-drawn with visible, scratchy strokes that give the typeface an unfinished, spontaneous character. The weight mirrors its sibling Londrina Solid but is stripped of fill, leaving only a gestural sketched outline. This contrast works best at larger display sizes, where the rough texture reads clearly and adds grit without tipping into full grunge.

It earns its place in music event posters, indie brand packaging, and street-culture editorial design. Pairing it with Londrina Solid creates an interesting visual layering effect — sketch over solid for depth. However, at small sizes, the open strokes deteriorate quickly, making it a poor choice for captions, UI labels, or anything requiring tight legibility.
