Dogfish is a bold display font built around thick strokes, compact spacing, and sturdy all-caps shapes that feel slightly industrial. The regular style looks planted and weighty, while the oblique cut adds more motion without losing that blunt structure. It works well on beer labels, event posters, team graphics, or branding that needs a rougher, more forceful voice. In smaller sizes or text-heavy layouts, though, it starts to feel dense and stubborn. If you need nuance or easy reading, this is probably not the direction. It is much better when the type itself is meant to carry attitude.
