Built on the tension between thick body strokes and sharp, tapered serifs, Arash carries the visual weight of mid-century poster typography without leaning fully into pastiche. The condensed width adds vertical energy that works well in tight headline settings, and the OpenType feature set — alternates, ligatures, swash endings — gives designers room to push letter combinations in logotype work. It reads confidently at display sizes for branding mockups, product packaging headers, and social media quotes. Where it struggles: the personal-use demo version ships with an incomplete character set, which makes it impractical for any client-facing or multilingual production work without purchasing the commercial license. Body text use is also off the table — the high stroke contrast and decorative terminals break down quickly at small sizes.
