Alyshen carries a quietly quirky personality — its letter structures lean into retro sensibility while maintaining clean, upright sans-serif proportions. Stroke weight is relatively uniform, and selective alternate characters add visual rhythm without tipping into chaos. Spacing feels open rather than tight, which helps it breathe at display sizes. It works well anchoring logo lockups, short headline treatments, or branded shirt graphics where a single word or phrase carries the visual weight. That said, it falls apart quickly in smaller sizes or longer passages — the decorative alternates lose legibility and the retro-quirk reads as noise.
