About

Kelly Slab is a geometric slab serif with rectangular letterforms, firm verticals, and square slab serifs that create a compact, almost grid-like texture. The spacing runs tight and the strokes feel sturdy, which makes the font visually loud even at medium sizes. It leans modern and slightly industrial, with a sporty, urban character closer to display lettering than to a traditional book serif. In practice it works when you need impact in advertising, headings, major labels, and bold logotypes, or short text blocks at larger sizes. For long-form reading or highly formal editorial layouts, the rigid rectangles can become tiring and a bit mechanical, so I would reserve it for accent rather than main copy.

Best For:
headline,Poster,Advertising,Branding

Not Ideal For:
Body Text,formal documents,long paragraphs,Wedding

Perfect for advertising, branding, and headline, with a bold and display style.
