Actor carries the characteristic marks of humanist sans-serif design: moderate stroke contrast, a high x-height, and terminals with just enough softness to keep it from feeling rigid. The old-style figures are a subtle but genuine differentiator — the curved 7 and fluid 6 and 9 forms add personality without pulling focus from the text itself. Spacing is even and deliberate, which rewards body copy and editorial column settings more than large-scale display use. At poster scale or in contexts demanding sharp visual punch, it tends to read as understated rather than commanding.
