Gowun Dodum Font

Gowun Dodum is a single-weight humanist sans-serif with even stroke width, soft terminals, and slightly generous spacing that keeps dense Korean text from feeling cramped. Its structure leans more organic than geometric, so lines of copy feel calm and approachable rather than mechanical. In practice, it works nicely for UI labels, app onboarding screens, lightweight editorial layouts, or video subtitles where readability and a friendly tone matter at the same time. When you push it into loud branding or ultra-bold display work, it can look a bit too gentle, so I’d pair it with a stronger headline face in those cases.
