Chicle Font

Chicle takes its name from the Spanish word for bubble gum — and the letterforms deliver exactly that feeling. Strokes are thick and inflated, corners are generously rounded, and the spacing holds just enough tightness to give each word a satisfying visual density. The overall impression lands somewhere between vintage toy packaging and retro carnival signage: decorative without being overdone, bold without tipping into aggression.
It earns its place in candy brand logos, children’s product labels, and short poster headlines where the type itself needs to carry character. It does not, however, scale down gracefully — small-size usage flattens its charm — and it has no business in body copy or any layout where sustained readability matters. Unlike more refined display serifs, Chicle leans fully into fun, which is both its strength and its ceiling.
