Smelted Font introduces a playful display design built with thick, fluid strokes and melting character contours. The letterforms display substantial stroke weight and exaggerated rounded terminals, giving each character a distinct liquid aesthetic with uneven visual density. Character spacing is relatively tight to keep headlines cohesive, though the heavy silhouettes require generous line spacing to prevent visual crowding. The design excels in large-scale applications such as children’s book titles, animated game banners, and novelty merchandise graphics. However, the exaggerated decorative distortion significantly hinders legibility in extended text passages. The heavy forms remain most effective when reserved strictly for brief, oversized headlines.
