Radio Canada is a humanist sans serif with gently angled terminals, subtle curves, and open counters that keep text legible even at smaller sizes. Strokes feel balanced rather than flashy, so it carries a calm, public-institution voice rather than a heavily branded one. The relatively large x-height and careful spacing make it comfortable for continuous reading on screens, which works nicely for news sites, civic portals, dashboards, and long-form editorial content. Visually, it sits closer to workhorse humanist faces like Frutiger or Myriad than to geometric sans families, so if you want something loud or highly stylized for fashion or nightlife branding, it can feel too restrained.
