About

Mitr is a sans serif typeface with wide proportions, rounded terminals, and relatively uniform stroke widths that keep text open and easy to scan, even when letterforms get dense. The Thai and Latin characters are drawn with a geometric base but softened by humanist curves, so it feels contemporary without turning cold. In practice, it works especially well for UI labels, navigation, bilingual posters, and titles on social graphics where Thai vowel and tone marks must remain clear at smaller sizes. I would avoid using Mitr for long body copy or highly formal editorial layouts, where its generous width and casual tone can start to feel bulky and slightly too relaxed.

Best For:
bilingual ui labels
thai and latin headlines
social media promos
app and web navigation

Not Ideal For:
long paragraphs
formal editorial layouts
dense printed books

Perfect for headline, logo, and poster, with a calm and rounded style.
