About

Story Script is a handwritten script with an oblique, slightly reverse‑stress construction, so strokes feel lively but still controlled. The lines are fairly even in weight, with smooth curves and open counters that keep words legible in short paragraphs or UI microcopy, not just in big headlines. Spacing leans compact yet consistent, which helps longer phrases look like natural handwriting rather than cut‑and‑paste letters. It works especially well for friendly product labels, onboarding screens, and brand voices that sit between playful and professional. For dense body copy, technical documents, or ultra‑formal layouts, the informal tone and handwritten rhythm can feel out of place, so pairing it with a neutral sans serif usually gives better balance.

Best For:
casual brand headlines and taglines
friendly product packaging and labels
social media posts and story graphics
short UI microcopy with a human voice

Not Ideal For:
long technical or legal documents
formal corporate reports or annual statements
very small caption text in dense layouts
highly geometric, ultra‑minimalist branding systems

Perfect for branding, headline, and packaging, with a clean and handwritten style.
