About

Shrikhand is a heavy, rounded display typeface with thick strokes, tight internal spacing, and exaggerated curves that give letters a bouncy, hand-painted feel. Its structure sits somewhere between a retro display serif and soft sans, clearly echoing Gujarati street lettering while remaining readable in short lines of Latin text. The font shines in oversized headlines, dessert or restaurant branding, festival posters, and social graphics where you want the typography to carry the visual weight. It becomes tiring in dense paragraphs or UX copy, where its mass and rhythm slow reading and feel visually noisy. If you like the attitude of Cooper Black but want something more culturally flavored and exuberant, Shrikhand lands in that space with a bit more swagger.

Best For:
Loud food or dessert branding and logos
Posters and headlines for cultural or festival events
Playful social media graphics and story titles

Not Ideal For:
Long-form body text or articles
Serious corporate or minimalist branding systems
Small-size UI labels, menus, or dense data screens

Perfect for branding, headline, and logo, with a artistic and decorative style.
