Protest Riot is a condensed display face with rough, hand-cut strokes that feel like they were thrown together on cardboard in the middle of a march. The letters are tight, energetic, and slightly irregular, so text feels loud even with just a few words on the line. Visually it reads as informal and gritty, closer to expressive brush lettering than to a clean sans serif, so it adds texture rather than polish. It shines in large sizes on activist posters, editorial spreads, music artwork, or social media graphics where you want voice and friction, not neutrality.
