Plaster Font

Plaster is a displaytypeface with very low contrast, chunky geometric shapes, and generous letterspacing that compensates for the cut-out stencil gaps in each character. Its modular construction and squared curves echo mid‑century experiments, but details like softened corners keep it from feeling too cold. In practice it works well for medium to large sizes: magazine covers, exhibition posters, film title cards, or bold wordmarks where you want a confident, slightly rugged tone. For long paragraphs, small captions, or UI text, the stencil breaks and tight counters can feel tiring and fussy, so it is better kept for short, high-impact phrases rather than dense reading.
