New Terror Font
Free for personal useAbout
New Terror opens with rigid, angular letterforms that sit on mostly straight verticals, then break into splintered outlines and chipped edges that give each character a rough, eroded feel. The strokes are thick and relatively even in weight, but the torn contours and occasional inner gaps create strong visual texture rather than smooth shapes. Spacing sits on the tighter side, so the forms cluster into dense word images that read clearly at larger display sizes while emphasizing their aggressive structure. At medium sizes the design still holds up for short phrases or headlines, but fine details and heavy distress make it less comfortable for small captions or extended reading. The overall impression is intentionally harsh, and the decorative damage becomes its main strength in bold, short text.
Best For:
horror movie posters
haunted house flyers
metal band logos
halloween event titles
Not Ideal For:
long paragraph text
corporate reports
small interface labels
technical documentation
Perfect for gaming, halloween, and headline, with a dark and decorative style.
