Murecho Font

Murecho is a flat-terminal Gothic sans serif with low stroke contrast and calm, evenly weighted forms that stay readable even in dense kanji or compact Latin text. Spacing is restrained rather than airy, which helps it hold together in UI components, infographics, and multilingual captions where space is tight. The variable font and nine static weights let you move from subtle labels to stronger headings without jumping to an entirely different family. Visually it sits in the same universe as Noto Sans, but feels a bit more neutral and anonymous, which can be helpful when the content—not the typeface—needs to take the lead. However, that neutrality also means it can look too plain for expressive branding or editorial layouts that rely on personality.
