Moulpali Font
Free for Commercial UseAbout
Moulpali draws its letterforms from Cambodian metal type of the 1960s — a period when Khmer print design had a particular quiet authority. The strokes are even, the counters open, and the overall weight sits comfortably in the range designed for sustained reading rather than display impact. It is not built to shout.
Where this font earns its place is in Khmer-language editorial platforms, cultural institution websites, or multilingual educational apps where the Latin and Khmer scripts need to coexist without jarring contrast. The humanist undertone keeps body paragraphs from feeling mechanical, while the vintage origin adds a layer of cultural grounding that purely functional fonts lack.
For Latin-only projects, Moulpali offers little compelling reason to choose it — the 1960s character comes through Khmer glyphs, where the revival quality feels intentional rather than decorative.
