Michroma is a geometric, rounded-square sans serif with uniform strokes, generous spacing, and a slightly wide stance that gives text a calm, engineered rhythm. It carries a clear 1960s future-tech flavor, echoing classics like Microgramma and Eurostile, but feels cleaner and more at home on today’s high‑resolution displays. The letters stay highly legible at medium sizes, which works nicely for interface labels, esports or tech logos, and cinematic title cards. On the other hand, its strict, modular shapes can feel too mechanical for warm, narrative-heavy reading or anything that needs a human, editorial voice. I tend to reach for it when a project wants digital precision rather than personality, especially in screen-first layouts and motion graphics.
