Maname Font

Maname is a text-focused serif typeface with gently modulated strokes, noticeable contrast, and a slightly irregular rhythm that comes from its Sinhala roots. Counters stay open and spacing feels generous enough for continuous reading, yet the curves and terminals add a bit of personality that stands out more than a neutral book face. In practice it works nicely for bilingual Sinhala–Latin layouts, editorial spreads, book interiors, and titles where you want an expressive but still grounded serif. If you need a very stiff corporate voice or dense technical documentation, the lively details can feel slightly too informal compared with more conventional text families.
