About

What defines Loved by the King is the tension between its narrow, elongated letterforms and the unpredictable weight shifts in each stroke — heavier on the downstroke, lighter where the pen barely grazes the page. That irregularity is the point. Created by Kimberly Geswein in 2006 as one of her earliest public releases, it leans into spontaneity rather than typographic precision. Short display uses are where it thrives: a save-the-date headline, a social media quote card, or a handmade-feeling product label for a small creative brand. The tight spacing helps it slot into narrow layout columns without losing character. Push it into body copy or shrink it below 18pt, though, and legibility erodes quickly — this one earns its place in a headline, not a paragraph.

Best For:- wedding stationery headlines
– social media quote overlays
– greeting card title text
– handmade or artisan product labels

Not Ideal For:- body text at small sizes
– corporate or institutional materials
– UI interface labels

Perfect for branding, invitation, and poster, with a friendly and handwritten style.
