Dorsa Font
Free for Commercial UseAbout
Dorsa is a high-contrast, extra‑light display sans serif built on very narrow, vertical proportions and generous internal spacing, so letters feel tall and airy rather than cramped. The structure is geometric and somewhat modular, with sharp terminals and an Art Deco flavor that comes from its roots in the 1937 Empire typeface. Strokes are so thin that the font reads best at medium to large sizes; used too small or over busy imagery, it can quickly disappear. It shines when you want a lean, elegant voice in poster headlines, fashion lookbooks, or product names on minimalist packaging, but it is far too delicate and condensed for long reading text or dense UI labels.
Best For:
tall display headlines
fashion or lifestyle branding
minimalist poster titles
short editorial accents
Not Ideal For:
long paragraphs
small-size body text
dense UI or app interfaces
highly legible signage
Perfect for advertising, branding, and headline, with a artistic and condensed style.
