Bayon Font

Bayon is a Khmer-centric display typeface with a single, hefty weight, tight spacing, and a largely monoline structure that keeps strokes even from top to bottom. Its shapes feel geometric yet approachable, with squared forms softened by rounded terminals, so text holds together as a solid block without looking harsh. On screen, this gives headlines and short labels a confident, contemporary tone that reads quickly at a glance. Where it shines is in bold titles, navigation elements, and graphic-style banners, especially when you want Khmer and Latin to sit together consistently. It’s much less convincing in long paragraphs or small legal copy, where the weight and tight spacing can feel heavy and tiring over time.
