Gabriela is a serif with gently modulated strokes, high contrast, and distinctive curl-shaped terminals that link letters into flowing word shapes. It reads smoothly in short paragraphs, while the quirky terminals add character in headlines, covers, or quote graphics where you want a bit of personality without losing legibility. On a dense corporate report or data-heavy UI, the curls can start to feel busy, but on branding for cafes, bookish products, or editorial layouts it brings a warm, slightly vintage voice. If you like Didone-style serifs but find many of them too stiff, this family feels more relaxed and human.
