Cherry Swash is a monolinear slab-serif released in 2012 by Nataliya Kasatkina, notable for its absence of stroke contrast — a deliberate choice that gives every letterform an even, confident weight. What sets it apart are the swash capitals: sweeping, ornamental forms that inject personality into otherwise clean, structured text. The two available weights (Regular and Bold) offer enough range for layered headline compositions without drifting into novelty territory. It holds up well on event posters, artisan packaging labels, and magazine section headers where you want typographic structure without rigidity.
