About

Biryani is a geometric sans serif with even stroke widths, clean skeletons, and just enough “wonk” in the curves to keep it from feeling sterile. The family spans very light to black weights, so you can keep interface labels, navigation, and bold promotional text in one coherent voice. It reads crisply at medium sizes on screen, which works nicely for dashboards, app shells, and short editorial blurbs, but long, immersive reading can feel a bit stiff and display‑like. Compared with more neutral grotesques, Biryani brings a hint of personality that fits product brands targeting modern Indian and global audiences using both Latin and Devanagari text.

Best For:
UI labels and navigation
product and SaaS landing pages
bilingual branding with Latin and Indian scripts
mid-length editorial or blog blurbs

Not Ideal For:
novels or dense long-form reading
highly traditional corporate reports
very ornate or romantic event materials

Perfect for branding, editorial, and headline, with a clean and geometric style.
