About

Beach Sound is a casual 70s-style display serif with chunky, uneven strokes, rounded corners, and loose spacing that give it a sun-faded, hand-drawn feel. The letterforms mix serif structure with groovy curves and decorative swashes, so headlines quickly read as retro and a bit quirky rather than formal. It works well on bold branding, food and drink posters, cookie or snack packaging, and social graphics where you want a vintage beach or surf mood. However, its decorative shapes and irregular rhythm make it harder to read in small sizes or long paragraphs, so it performs best when used sparingly as display type, not as body text.

Best For:
retro food and beverage posters
70s-themed brand logos and wordmarks
vintage-inspired snack or cookie packaging
nostalgic summer or surf event headlines

Not Ideal For:
long paragraph text or body copy
formal corporate documents or reports
minimalist tech or fintech branding
small UI labels or dense editorial layouts

Perfect for branding, headline, and logo, with a creative and decorative style.
