It reads immediately as confrontational and raw, sitting firmly in the grunge aesthetic without tipping into illegibility at display sizes. That said, small sizes punish it badly; the eroded details collapse into noise below roughly 24pt, making it a headline-only tool. It works best when given room to breathe on dark backgrounds or layered compositions — concert posters, underground zine covers, band merchandise headers.
