Adaline Font
Free for personal useAbout
Adaline carries the loose, expressive energy of hand-lettered cartoon text — its strokes feel deliberately imperfect, with an organic weight variation that reads as personal rather than produced. The letterforms lean into a casual, slightly bouncy structure that gives headlines and short display text a warm, approachable tone. It works well for children’s content headers, indie brand logos, or whimsical event materials where rigid formality would feel out of place. That said, the limited glyph set (40 glyphs) is a real constraint — complex multilingual layouts or symbol-heavy designs are simply out of reach. For anything beyond Latin basic characters, designers will need a fallback or alternative.
