About

Siemreap is a structured Khmer typeface with steady verticals, restrained contrast, and relatively tight spacing that keeps paragraphs neat on the page. Its shapes echo blackletter rigidity while staying clear enough for everyday reading, so longer Khmer texts do not feel tiring or fussy. In practice it works well for official forms, contracts, public signage, and product packaging where Khmer and Latin must coexist without fighting for attention. If you need expressive headlines or very small UI captions, its single regular weight and stiff rhythm can feel a bit heavy-handed, so you may want to pair it with a softer companion font instead.

Best For:
Khmer government and legal documents
Bilingual Khmer–English reports and forms
Public signage and wayfinding in Cambodia
Product packaging with Khmer labeling

Not Ideal For:
Tiny interface text or dense mobile UI copy
Highly expressive branding needing multiple weights
Playful kids or gaming visuals

Perfect for advertising, body text, and editorial, with a classic and display style.
