Allerta Font
Free for Commercial UseAbout
Allerta is a sans-serif typeface with a straightforward skeleton, moderate stroke contrast, and wide, open counters that help letters snap into focus even at a glance. The spacing is on the airy side, so words breathe nicely on signs, buttons, and cards without feeling cramped. Many glyphs lean on simplified, geometric construction, but the overall tone is more pragmatic than decorative, which keeps it readable in rough lighting or low-resolution environments. I tend to reach for Allerta when I need functional headings on dashboards, wayfinding signage, or product labels where clarity matters more than personality. It is less convincing for dense editorial text or brands that need a highly distinctive voice; in those cases, pairing it with a more characterful companion font works better.
Best For:
signage and wayfinding systems
ui labels and buttons
clean website headers
data dashboards and control panels
Not Ideal For:
long-form body reading
highly formal documents
ornate luxury branding
dense editorial layouts
Perfect for advertising, headline, and logo, with a clean and geometric style.
